Ed Glassman (Film Instructor) - Ed is the Video Cinema Arts Teacher, Technology Specialist, and History Day Competition Mentor, a position he has held since 1997 at the Denver School of the Arts, Denver Public Schools. He received an MA in 1992 from the University of Colorado at Denver including a K-12 LMS Endorsement. He has been an Inservice Trainer for the Intel “Teach to the Future” program as well an a Media Specialist in the Denver Public Schools since 1986. |
Ed's practical training and experience in Filmmaking include: “Teaching Movie Making Workshop” at George Ozuna (2004), “Teach to the Future” (2003), “Movie Making Workshop” through the LA Film School & UCD Denver (2000), “Art/Science” summer teacher training in Aurora, Colorado (1999), as well as Creation of programming for New York City Public Access, documentaries on music, musicians, religion, and teaching, plus Extensive Video Editing Software Training. Ed has taught Looking Glass Arts’ Filmmaking Programs since 2006. |

| Cathy Reinking (Acting Instructor) - Cathy is a professional Casting Director and Acting Teacher. She has 12 years experience as a working Casting Director for film, tv, and theatre, plus she has 25 years experience in all aspects of Entertainment. Her LA credits (partial) include: Frasier, arrested development, and According to Jim, plus pilots at all the major Networks, and indie films galore! Her Colorado credits include Woodshop and Juncture. Cathy has been the Manager of Casting at NBC, and she has a degree in Theatre Arts from UCLA, magna cum laude. Cathy has led workshops for actors all around the US and Canada. |

Leslie Getty (Film Instructor) - Leslie is an independent editor and creative director with 27 years experience editing feature films, documentaries, corporate and educational programs, entertainment and adventure films, music videos, feature trailers, infomercials, and hundreds of commercials. He is particularly known for his story editing skills, his audio design and the depth of his technical knowledge. He has participated in testing and development of pilot non-linear editing systems since their emergence in 1984 and currently works with the Avid Media Composer and Apple Final Cut Pro. Leslie is committed to youth education film workshops and has taught Looking Glass Arts Programs since 2007. |

Mark McCoin (Audio Instructor) - Mark is an instructor in the Film Studies department at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and runs Brave New Audio, a creative project studio focusing on a variety of artistic and interdisciplinary possibilities. As a composer, performer, and sound designer for over 25 years, Mark has designed numerous Theater productions including “Pericles” at Center Stage in Baltimore and “Mysteries of Eleusis” at the Next Wave Festival in New York. Mark also co-produced the award winning NPR radio series “TerraInfirma”, which combined social and political issues with audio art, as well as worked for years as a scoring composer/designer for episodic television (Animal Planet, Food Network), film, and Dance Theater. Mark has taught sound design for Looking Glass Arts since 2005. |

Stephen Butler (Film Instructor) - Stephen is a current doctoral student of multi-media arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is the former Director of Technology and high school film teacher at the Alexander Dawson School in Lafayette, Colorado. Stephen graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has worked as an independent technology consultant for the Friends School and for the School of Education at CU Boulder. Stephen has taught video filmmaking programs for Looking Glass Arts since 2005. |

Josh Shayne (Film Instructor) - Josh is an award-winning writer/director and the creator of Floating Lightbulb Films. He is a graduate of Boulder High and the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. His films and commercial works have garnered much acclaim. His film “NYU and YOU” is screened annually for the incoming class of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His awards include the prestigious Russell Hexter Grant for excellence in Filmmaking (2005); NYU’s Faculty Commendation in Directing (2006); and “the Best New Director” of Cinema Classics Filmmaker Showcase (2004). His films have been screened in film festivals from coast-to-coast. |

Bob Wing (Aikido Instructor) - Aikido black belt, and the chief instructor at the Naropa University Aikido Club in Boulder, Colorado. Bob also holds a master's degree in theology and is a Trager practitioner and tutor. |
