ABOUT

This retreat is offered to three artists, each from a different creative discipline. We encourage artists of all disciplines to apply (visual artists, writers, musicians, graphic artists, animators, etc). 

 

LGA invites each artist to work on a project of their own in the tranquility of the mountains using any of the spaces we have available; the Barn, the Bull-pen, the Milk House, your room in the farmhouse and more.

 

The retreats are self-directed. There is no requirement for sharing your work. You can use your time as you wish at Looking Glass Arts.

SCHEDULE

July 10-14, 2024

HOSPITALITY 

Your stay will include:  A private bedroom in the Farm House (with a shared bathroom) and three meals a day prepared by the host. Dinner is a nightly communal meal. There is high speed fiber optic internet in the Farm House as well as a desk in every bedroom. There is an old spinet piano in the Farm House.

HONORARIUM

Each artist is offered a $500 honorarium.

Looking Glass Arts prioritizes applications from the global majority. Additionally, we highly encourage those of all sexual orientations, gender expressions and gender identities to apply.
